With a large body of research to back up his interventions, Martin Seligman has done a great deal to develop the field of positive psychology. I often recommend this book in conjunction with some of the questionnaires on his website. His approaches focus on helping people find their strengths, and research shows us there is a pretty strong connection between a person’s happiness and how much they engage in their strengths. I think this is a great place to start when you are trying to get back on your Path, but have temporarily lost track of it. Usually getting a better sense of what makes you feel happy is a good place to start.
